Choosing Friends for your children The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: الْمَرْءُ عَلَى دِينِ خَلِيلِهِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ أَحَدُكُمْ مَنْ يُخَالِلُ "A person is upon the religion of his close friend, so each one of you look to whom he takes as a close friend" So it is said: الصاحب ساحب "The friend is one who influences" Let's beware of who our children mixes with, sits with and accompanies. We learn from this that if their company is bad it will have a bad effect on them. So we should choose good children to befriend our children.
