That is why we make dua'a when we go to sleep and when we wake up ! While sleeping, we submit ourselves to the mercy of the Lord above, trusting him to wake us up or let it be our eternal sleep ! And when we do wake up, we thank him for another day in our life, another chance to set things right, to repent !! Dua before going to sleep: اَللَّهُمَّ بِاِسْمِكَ اَمُوْتُ وَاَحْيَ Dua upon waking up: اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِىْ اَحْىَ نَفْسِىْ بَعْدَ مَااَمَاتَهَا وَ اِلَيْهِ النُّشُوْرُ
