A shaheed inshaAllah, Abu Mu'adh al-Tabooki, who was martyred recently in Syria had a Quran which he kept from his mum which said: "My precious son, I ask Allah (The Ever-Living and Sustainer of all existence), to make you of those who memorize His Book. I ask Allah Lord of the Great Throne that He make your intention sincerely for Him. May Allah preserve you." SubhannaAllah, touching. Indeed, I always wondered what it was...from great mothers come great children inshaAllah. Truly a mum's influence is incomparable. May Allah accept him and allow him to be an intercesser for his amazing mum!
