10 reasons why our duas go unanswered 1, We believe in Allah but behave as though He's not there. 2, We believe in Rasulullah صلي الله عليه و سلم yet we don't like his sunnah. 3, We know that Quran is a manual for guidance but we don't practice on what it teaches. 4, We know that Jannat is true but we don't strive to earn it and we know that Adhaab of Jahannam is true but we are rushing towards it. 5, We know that Iblees is our staunch enemy but we are extremely loyal to him. 6, We go to the graveyard, bury our family and friends but we forget our own death. 7, We know that this world is only temporary but we hoard money beyond our need, and we don't care whether it's halal or it's haram. 8, We know that we are going to die but we are busy in buying houses and paying mortgages as though we have to live here forever. 9, We see Allah being disobeyed but we say 'it's not my problem'. We fail to promote virtue and forbid the vice, even in our homes. 10, and finally, we look at other people's mistakes but we never look at our own transgressing. Everyone who reads this will have one or many of the above, which is causing our duaas to be rejected. Reflect for 30 seconds and take heed. May Allah give us some understanding and help us change our bad habits. Ameen
