Please remember to say bismillah before you begin eating....... Narrated Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) We came to eat and a girl came as if she was being pushed (or impelled) forward and she went to put her hand in the food, but the messenger alayhis-salam grabbed her hand. Then a bedouin man came and it was as if he was being pushed (or impelled) forward, but the prophet (alayhis-salam) seized his hand and said: "The Shaitan considers it permissible for himself to eat from the food over which the name of Allah is not mentioned; and he has come with this slave-girl trying to make lawful food for himself, and I grabbed her hand, and with this Bedouin man, trying to eat, and I grabbed his hand. By He who my soul is in His Hand, his hand and her hand are both in my hand.” (Collected by Muslim, 2017) (Mentioned in Zaad Al Ma'ad) Many times when a person is possesed, the shaytaan makes them forget to say bismillah so that he too can eat with them - this is common after a ruqya session. The jinn has taken a beating and needs a drink and some food - so he tries to make the patient forget to say bismillah when they eat or drink.
