I woke up this morning I thanked Allah, I looked out my window The rain was gushing down as the ice petals hit the ground, I thanked Allah I'm safe in my home As I headed downstairs I realized I forgot to grab my medicine from my room I thanked Allah My mind is working even if I forget I opened the fridge and someone had finished off the last Apple juice and left the empty container in the fridge I thanked Allah I have kids and they love juice I'm ready to go to work, running late And see my neighbour with a handful of groceries I run over to help... Knowing I'm late I thank Allah, my neighbour always prays for my health At work my client is short $12 , but I say don't worry.. Next time And I thank Allah I'm able work I thank Allah I thank Allah For who I am For being born a Muslim And for all the love Allah showers me with, I thank Allah By:Samara Mukhi
