An art teacher asked her young students to draw a picture showing a scene from the spring season, so one of her students drew a picture of the Qur'an (i.e. the mushaf). The teacher said to the young girl, "I asked you to draw a picture of the spring, and not a picture of the Qur'an! Didn't you understand the instructions?" So the young girl answered innocently, "The Qur'an is the spring of my heart. That's what my mother taught me!" M A S H A - A L L A H !!! The Prophet (sallAlahu `alayhi wa sallam) said in an authentic supplication, "O Allaah, I am Your slave, son of Your slave, son of Your maidservant; my forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You have named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the Unseen with You, that You make the Qur’aan the spring (life) of my heart and the light of my breast, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety)," [Narrated by Ahmad 1/391]
