When we were growing up my mom always said, "leave a room better than you found it." I understood what this meant, but it didn't have meaning until I got married and started having kids. Now, I really focus on what I can put away, or take with me to put away, or quickly clean before I leave a room. Now I pass on this advice to my children. "Leave a room better than you found it." I even sound like my mother. :)
