A Poem by a 16 year old Nour Al Hakim Muhammad, peace and blessings upon him A mercy to mankind A human with such qualities, you will never find Before birth his father had died, and his mother followed close behind Yet complete features of humanity, he’s character was to bind An amazing quran and risalah, this prophet was assigned And despite the pagans aggression, he never seemed to mind Had his heart not been washed in the golden tray of belief, perhaps he would have resigned Yet his commitment to this journey, by no means had declined To the abuse and crimes of quraish, not once had he maligned All he could do was make dua, for his heart was much too kind By rubbing his pure hand on the crying date-palm, his soft hearted sympathy was defined His honesty and trustworthiness were so moderately aligned Al-ameen was his title, and nobody could have denied For his golden hadith and wise judgments, companions and followers had mined Some vinegar and stale bread, was predominantly what he dined Yet, a handsomely glowing face and a fine figure was of what he was designed His radiant smile shined, even to the blind Al-Israa and Miraj, such a sacred journey is explicitly refined If only I could meet him, and time I could rewind
