Do we really love our prophet (peace be upon him)?? By Nourin Ebrahim Give it a thought, I guess we are all muslims claiming to love our last Prophet (pbuh) more than our dear ones. We all know love is something to be expressed rather than kept in mind. Let us think of the ways we showed our love to Our Prophet (pbuh). Muhammed (saw) was a man who called us his Ummatis and loved us because we love him without seeing him. 1400 years ago Prophet (pbuh) said ‘’I long to see my brothers in Jannah’’He said: “I miss my brothers’’, they said: "Aren’t we your brothers, O Messenger of God? He said: You are my friends, and my brothers are those who believe in me and did not see me” (Muslim) Words strong enough to fill our eyes. The most beloved man with the best character, who was loved and respected by elders, youth and kids alike and the whole lot of Muslims around the world. Prophet’s life is an open book for us to learn and practice our religion as Allah commanded us to. If we claim to love Our Prophet (saw) for the sake of Allah, just try to number the deeds we do to express our love for him. Do we try to follow his sunnah, or may be smallest sunnah like sitting while drinking (Reminder for me first and foremost). I am just trying to help you and me evaluate ourselves and think if we mean what we say. Let us change for the good and try not to miss any chance of doing a sunnah (tradition) of Our Beloved Prophet (peace be upon him). In this era where anti-Islamic acts are increasing it is our duty to show through our life what Islam is to at least the people around us. Getting emotional about religion is not a way out, we are supposed to be stead fast in Islam, continue preaching and above all being patient which is not the way they (those who hate Islam) want us to respond. Let us show them our unity and Islam through our deeds. It’s high time Islam haters realize no matter what they do, they cannot harm Islam, Our prophet (saw) teachings, Our Quran and obviously us not even in the slightest manner. We don’t care whether they create a music ,a video clip, a banner, a fb page, a website or anything else they can do with the intelligence Allah gave them in dunya, because we know it is not gonna effect any True Muslim..Let them realize what harm they are doing to themselves.. . I did not watch the video (don’t want the video to be playing in my mind) and don’t want to contribute to the popularity of it. What I read about the video made me write for my Muslim brothers and sisters. ‘’May Allah protect us from all evil and save us from the blazing fire’’ Ameen…
