PIC: One of the most painful visits to a school in #Idlib #Syria where refugees took shelter. Fatima and Reem, two young girls, around the same age and bound by a family relation. They were closer than sisters, they played together, ate together, shared dreams together.. On a dark night, Assad forces rained Reem's house with shells, Reem suffered a severe concussion that left her paralyzed, a pri soner to a mattress in the corner of room where she cannot move, cannot talk .. cannot understand her surroundings. Fatima still loves to play with Reem even if the latter does not play back .. Fatima stays by Reem's side everyday .. asks her questions that she would never receive an answer to. Fatima takes very good care to drive flies and mosquitoes away from Reem's face, her little heart understood that her friend cannot move her hand to do that herself. Would Reem ever wake up to thank her friend? Would the World ever wake up to save the Children of Syria? From an Eyewitness
